I watched more anime in the last 3 days as compared to the first three months of this year. Wow. So anyways, this means that I’ve catched up with the latest Naruto and D.Gray-Man. I still have a few more episodes before catching up with Bleach but a lot more to catch up on for Katekyo Hitman Reborn and I’ve almost finish Rental Magica and Dragonaut ~the Resonance~.
I know that I’m suppossed to be revising for the Mid-Year Examinations and ‘O’ Levels and all but what can I say? I just have to pick up new series!
The new series that I’m picking up this season are;
CODE GEASS R2!! (Duh, already watched it even)
Blassreiter (Dunno what’s it about, but gonna give it a go anyways)
The Tower of Druaga ~the Aegis of URUK~ (Gonna give this a try as well)
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D
Yes, I know some of you are thinking, “Yu-Gi-Oh!!!!????”. Lol, I know it’s a bit…..I dunno….but I watched the original Yu-Gi-Oh! (Complete! =P), then followed on to Yu-Gi-Oh! GX (though missed out on a lot of the later episodes), so why not continue? It’s a for fun thing.
The long awaited second season of Code Geass: Lelouch of The Rebellion has finally aired in Japan today! And with it, came the opening. My thoughts on the new opening? Hmm….nothing special, I guess. The song is good but it just doesn’t seem right with Code Geass. It’s lacking something that was present in the first opening of Code Geass, which was Colors by FLOW. And it sounded kind of….happy?
Ah, anyways, the season looks promising. There are more new characters from the Knight of the Rounds, the Chinese Federation and such and not to mention more Knightmare Frames that actually looks nice (Only Lancelot, Guren and Gawain was notable in the first season).
I’ve only listened to the song 3-4 times only so I still haven’t really get the feeling of the song. UVER’s songs usually takes some time for me to actually like it (with only a few exceptions). But from the 3-4 times that I listened to it, I think that the animation and song does not synchronise well and therefore some may dislike this new opening. But if I only listened to the song and ignored the animation, the song is actually quite nice, and very similar to UVER’s other songs.
